Andrena ForlenzoOwner/Baker/DesignerHi everyone! Welcome to my page! My name is Andrena and I'm a proud born and raised Stamford native. I've had a passion for art since I was a young girl, as I enjoyed exploring my creativity with my late grandma. We have a bloodline of artistically talented individuals. When it was time to explore my college options I did not realize at that time that taking a path towards baking and pastry was one that would allow my creativity to flourish. Instead, I decided to pursue psychology and counseling because I knew I enjoyed working with, and listening to, people. Here I am all of these years later still sculpting, drawing, and painting, but instead of on paper and canvas it's on cookies and cakes!
In January, 2010 Crazy Confections was founded, and in May of 2011 I received my CT School Counseling Certification. However, it wasn't until October of 2018 when Connecticut passed the Cottage Food Law allowing residents to sell products from their home kitchens. In March, 2019 I officially became a Licensed CT Cottage Food Operation. Since 2013 have been working in Stamford schools as a school counselor. I get to work with people all of the time whether it be my students and families, or my loyal customers! I love working with high school students, but I also love baking and decorating, so here I am doing both. As a Cottage Food Establishment I am ServSafe certified. I happily create little (or big) works of art for customers from all over. I am the sole operator of Crazy Confections; dedicated to baking and designing yummy and fun treats for you to enjoy. I truly hope that my sweet treats bring a smile to your face! It is my privilege to be a part of your special day and the Stamford community. I look forward to hopefully working with YOU in the near future :) |
